Herbalist Hour Medicinal Plants Spring Lecture Series

🌿 Meet the Local Medicinal Plants 🌿

Meet your Local Medicinal Plants an Earth Day Celebration at Stewberry Farm with Special Guest Sarah Willard owner/operator of 13 Moons Herbal Apothecary

In celebration of Earth Day, and the Spring Equinox, you’re warmly invited to join us for a hands-on, beginner-friendly herbal workshop at Stewberry Farm on Sunday, April 19, 2026.

This practical and inspiring class encourages the common-sense use of local plants in everyday life. Many safe and easy-to-use medicinal plants grow all around us — in parks, along pathways, and in our own backyards. With observation, openness, and a little imagination, it becomes simple to learn their gifts for home use.

What You’ll Experience

Participants will learn how to:

  • Recognize common spring medicinal plants

  • Harvest respectfully and responsibly

  • Prepare and enjoy simple herbal remedies

Together, we’ll sample seasonal preparations such as:

  • Fresh herbal teas

  • Nourishing plant foods

  • Simple herbal salves

This is a welcoming space for curiosity, questions, and connection with the land.
