More than a farm.
Stewberry is where slow living, no-spray growing, and genuine connection come together on two acres in the heart of the Okanagan.

How it started
The Travelling
Renee and Chris — an American-Canadian couple who met while travelling — started Stewberry as a homestead. Their Instagram was called The Travelling Stewberries, and the name simply stuck.
What began as a drive for food resilience and family self-sufficiency grew into something nobody planned for. During COVID, the farm became a gathering place. Neighbours came for flowers, for goats, for the simple grace of being welcomed somewhere real.

"People come back because of the way I make them feel. Confident, happy, or just good about themselves."
Renee Stewart
That permission — to try, to touch, to be imperfect in a beautiful place — is the heart of everything we do here.
The people behind the farm
Meet Renee
Renee is the creative force of Stewberry — grower, maker, teacher, and host. She's the one who'll hand you a stem and say "this one's cut-and-come-again, you can't hurt it — go for it." And she means it.
Chris is the backbone of the operation. Together, they've built something that started as a family homestead and grew, quietly and intentionally, into one of the most loved small farms in the Southern Okanagan.

What we stand for
Rooted in values
Every stem, every workshop, every wreath is made with intention. These aren't marketing words. They're how we farm.
01
No Spray, Ever
Clean growing matters here. From rotational crops to careful soil amendments, what goes into the ground is just as important as what comes out of it. You'll never find chemical residue in a Stewberry bouquet.
02
Zero-Waste Ethos
Broken stems become ornament kits. Every petal is repurposed. Stewberry operates with the belief that nothing beautiful should be wasted — it just finds a different form.
03
Fiercely Local
Every stem is either homegrown on our two acres or sourced from trusted local growers we know by name. No imported fillers. No shortcuts. Just honest, Okanagan-grown flora.
04
Everlasting Quality
Our wreaths and dried pieces are designed to live for years, not weeks. We grow varieties specifically for their ability to dry beautifully — flowers that age like heirlooms, not grocery store bunches.
05
Education as Generosity
Teaching is woven into who Renee is. Workshops aren't just about making things — they're about building confidence, trying something new, and leaving feeling like you're capable of more than you thought.
